Storyline:

This movie has been made upon the book “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption”. An honest and hot-shot banker, Andy Dufresne, gets falsely accused of the murder of his wife and her lover, a golf pro, is sentenced to Shawshank Prison. Over the years, during all the unpleasantness, he retains “HOPE” and gains the friendship of his fellow inmates, especially a black marketer and longtime convict “Ellis Boyd Redding”, commonly known as “Red”. In the end, Andrew gets his way and makes a point that even though you can imprison a body but you can never truly imprison the spirit.
