Famous for its huge breeding of King penguin colony with a number of 150,000, which is the largest in South Georgia. 2. Fortuna Bay

4. Dryglaski Fjord and Copper Bay
Dryglaski Fjord is an adventurous place in-front of Copper Bay. It’s full of Glaciers and at 465 meters elevation which is the highest point on the region and fills with snow. When you visit South Georgia these two places are must-visit. Because of some rare species found there which include black-browed albatrosses, Antarctic prions. Seals are not allowed to hunt over the copper bay, so they can be spotted when you visit them.

The South Georgia Museum is located in the villa at Grytviken the home of the whaling station manager. The museum was established by Nigel Bonner in 1991 as a whaling museum.
