- Drape the tie around your neck. Hang the wide end about 14 inches past the narrow end.
- Cross the wide edge in front of the small end.

- Hold the wide end and pass it again over the loop around your collar. By this step, you are forming the other side of the triangular knot.

- Drag your favourite tie around your neck in such a way that the wide end, extending about 12 inches below the narrow end.
- Now cross the wide edge over the narrow side.
- Wrap the wide edge of your tie around the small end.

- Grasp the front of the knot gently with your index finger and move the wide end down through the front loop.

Steps To make Trinity Knot:
- Take a start by raising the shirt collar and drape the necktie around the neck with the thin end hanging on the right side, just above the navel.
- Pinch the broadside of the tie to form a dimple in the fabric.
- Take the wide edge and cross it over the narrow border.
- Take the thin part up through the neck opening.
- Cross the thin piece under the thick part of the tie and to the other side,
- Bring the narrow edge up.
- Pull the wide border through the neck opening and toward the right to form a heart shape.
- Now move it across the heart shape and bring it up through the loop around the neck.
- Pull thin part through the knot, keeping the top loop of the knot loose.
- Move it behind the lower end to the other side.
- Now bring the short end up and through the loose loop.

Steps involved in making Eldredge Knot:

- Pinch the thin part of the tie to form a dimple and cross the wide end in front of the narrow end as horizontally as possible.
- Wrap the wide end around behind the cross-shape, crossing horizontally from right to left.
- Tuck the wide edge through the loop around your collar.
- Bring the thin end horizontally across the skinny end.
- Tuck the tip of the wide end up through the loop around your collar and flip it over the top of the knot, crossing diagonally downward from left to right. Pull it down snug to form a diagonal band along the right side of the knot.

- Feedthrough and pull tight to create a diagonal group on each side.
